untilhow is a free countdown service for everything worth counting down to, holidays, sports finals, album drops, your wedding day, a long-awaited retirement. We answer the world's most-asked time question: how many days until…?

Every countdown on this site is calculated in the event's own timezone, so a January 1 New Year in Sydney counts differently from one in Los Angeles. The hero number is rendered on the server (so search engines see the truth) while a live ticker updates seconds in your browser.

What's next

A free iPhone and Android app is coming. It'll let you save any countdown as a home screen and lock screen widget, share with friends, and sync across devices. Sign up at /get-app and we'll email you when it ships.
